National Teams of Finland

Finnish Basketball Association conducts programs for ten National Teams, which are introduced on this section.

Currently National Teams of Men, Women and Women U16 are playing in Division A of European Championships. Other U20, U18 and U16 teams are playing in Division B with the goal of earning promotion.

Other goals of the National Team program include:

• Developing future professional players who will play at the senior national team level.
• Providing chances for young players to test their talent and skills against international competition.
• Supporting the development of its participants into responsible citizens, caring human beings, and to facilitate cross-cultural learning and experiences.
